  1. Log into IMPACT from the Graduate School’s website (http://gsbs.uthscsa.edu/)

  2. Under GSBS logins (located in the black box at the bottom of the page) select IMPACT

  3. Log in using UTHSCSA domain email address and password

  4. On the right hand side under Current Degree Plan select the program in which the student is affiliated

  5. On right hand column under Select Your Role “select Faculty Role (if multiple roles are listed)

  6. Click on the box in the middle of the page that says "Evaluations" in it.

Creating a New Evaluation

  1. On the left side, under "Operations," you should see a list of the available evaluation types. Click on the one that is appropriate for the student you wish to evaluate.
  2. Select the student you wish to evaluate on the dropdown list under "Student."
  3. Complete the evaluation.
  4. Be sure to click the checkbox next to the text in red that says "Click Here to Sign The Evaluation and Submit For Review:," indicating that you are signing the evaluation.
  5. Select the SAVE button to save the form.

Updating an Existing Evaluation

  1. You should see a list of available evaluations. To select one, click on the title (to the right of "Evaluation Form")
  2. On the left side, under "Operations," click on "Update Evaluation." If you have not signed the evaluation, or if you have not marked it "active," you will be able to make changes.
  3. Make changes as appropriate.
  4. If you see text in red towards the bottom that says "Click Here to Sign The Evaluation and Submit For Review:," be sure to click the checkbox next to it indicating that you are signing the evaluation. If you do not see this text IMPACT has stored your signature from a previous time.
  5. Select the SAVE button to save the form.
