Individuals who have lost a spouse or domestic partner within the last 3 months (+/- 45 days), and who are of Latin or non-Latino White origin.
Individuals with regular use of medications with major immunological consequences (e.g., steroids), those on medications for angiotensin type I receptor blockers, and those taking statins. Those taking aspirin will not be excluded because this did not reduce IL-6 and CRP inflammation in previous work. However, it will be assessed.
