Assessment of Cognitive Function in Mexican Americans with End-Stage Renal Disease Receiving Hemodialysis (ACME)
Lay Description
The purpose of this study to explore the health-related quality of life and to evaluate cognitive function status in Mexican Americans who are on hemodialysis because they are diagnosed with end-stage renal disease (ESRD) due to type 2diabetes (T2D). We are also interested in understanding if metabolic alterations, occur during dialysis, may be associated with depression and cognition.
