Purpose

Real time collaborative stroke patient data collection, in partnership with UTSW. Data to be collected as standard stroke patient care, aiming in finding ongoing Quality Improvement (QI) within years of collected data.

Inclusion Criteria

    • 18+ years of age
    • activated as code stroke.
    • Arterial Ischemic Stroke or Acute Hemorrhagic Stroke.

Exclusion Criteria

    • patients under the age of 18
    • Prisoners
    • not activated as code stroke.

Collaboration of stroke patient data collection in order to enhance process flow for stroke codes in the emergency department (ED).
